reminder

I walked out to the mailboxes with a snack, a purple petunia shipment (hedgie family and tiny mouse) I packaged while I was home, and a (late) Mother's Day package. In the corridor on the way out, I saw a man who caught my attention: standing so formally. Why the suit and, especially, boutonnière? Then I saw, walking past, chomping on my apple: a guerney with a body bag. Funeral home.

When I walked back, the guerney was gone, but I heard the mother.

What they said....so sad.....

Thinking of "your girl" today. I'm still trying to get in touch with my contact at Disney about the shirt project. I'm no longer working there but, if this doesn't work out, most of my knitting group works there so I'll make it happen somehow. It just may take longer than expected.....

Lymans have finally figured out how to post a blog, I think, we'll see if this works. I had to ask Glenda, so thanks to her. Well Marian, the librarian, we miss you. The kids pray for you every day and are looking forward to you coming back to Shippensburg. I hope you got our email with the song we wrote. Maybe we'll perform it for you when you get back. We really want to come and see you, but I have a house full of company and a little thing called graduation coming up, so we'll see. We miss your mommy too, give her a hug for us.
Val, I miss you and think of you always, hope you are hanging in there. I enjoy your medical blogs, they are great for me to think through and understand. I wanted to say, HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!!! What a blessed mother you are. Hold that sweetie of yours and give her kisses from all of the Lymans. I wish I could do more for all of you during this time, but I find myself engrossed with out of town company, finals, and graduation. Hopefully things will slow down. When do you need the disinfecting to take place? Let me know. We love you, have Nathan call if he wants a home cooked meal that he didn't have to cook!
Love,
Amy and the Lymans
